Where Flour Meets Purpose
What began as a simple in-house initiative to provide fresh bread and baked treats for our children has become a symbol of possibility. Our humble bakery now buzzes with purpose, warmth, and the sweet smell of ambition. It’s more than just a place to make dough—it’s a place to rise.
Beyond Our Walls
Our next step? Expansion.
We’re preparing to offer our baked goods to the local community. Not only will this generate funds to help sustain the Familia Moja mission, but it will also foster self-reliance, entrepreneurial thinking, and pride among our children.
Imagine biting into a cookie baked by a future chef who discovered their passion here. Imagine our children seeing that the skills they learn today can feed families tomorrow.
Skills, Spirit, and Sustainability
But bread alone doesn’t build futures. Consistent mentorship and training are just as important.
During the holidays, we’re lucky to host amazing volunteers who teach skills like unicycling, skating, chess, acrobatics, and beadwork. The children love it—but they crave more. More structure. More guidance. More time to grow.
So here’s our call:
We’re looking for trainers, coaches, artists, and mentors willing to share their skills on a permanent or semi-regular basis.
Whether you’re a:
Skating coach
Chess enthusiast
Beadwork artisan
Acrobat trainer
Unicycle daredevil—we’d love to hear from you.
Let’s Bake the Future Together
Our bakery is a start. A powerful one. But together, we can grow so much more than bread—we can grow confidence, discipline, creativity, and joy.
Join us in turning flour into futures.
