he smell. The warmth. That perfect crunch on the outside and the soft, wholesome middle.
Our campaign begins with something simple—bread.
At Familia Moja, we’ve always believed that big change starts small. Our bakery project is more than just an oven and dough—it’s the start of a self-sustaining future for our children and the community we call home.
Since our beginning, we’ve partnered with the local community to launch sustainable initiatives that benefit both our children and the people around us. The bakery is our next step forward—an income-generating activity that’s practical, low-risk, and full of purpose.
We aim to open our doors by Easter 2015, and when we do, here’s what the bakery will offer:
Reduce orphanage running costs and ease our monthly budget
Enrich our children’s diet with fresh, nutritious baked goods
Train young bakers and provide valuable work experience
Create local jobs by hiring additional staff
Serve the wider community with affordable, quality bread
It may start with a loaf—but it ends with opportunity, dignity, and growth.Join us in baking a better future, one loaf at a time.
